I'll prolly check this out in KU because I'm curious. https://www.amazon.com/End-Game-Romance-Lisa-Swallow-ebook/dp/B072KTBHZK Came up under the litrpg keyword search o.o
Let us know! Decent reviews, but rank didn't hold up very well...the third and fourth waves are here...
ermmmmm that URL title.. And author name. sigh.. Good for a laugh though "lisa Swallow" <<<< Shakes head....
OK, so I read it and aside from the opening drama with the love interest, which I guess was the hook? I enjoyed the story and in particular, the humor in her writing. I did skip from the 50 percent mark to the last two chapters after I realized it was giving me more romance than gaming. However, I especially enjoyed the gamer lingo and how her clever turn of words melded in a delightful mish-mash of book goodness. At the end of her book, she writes she is working on a non-contemporary romance LitRPG titled 'Fringe Realms'. I did some online sleuthing and came up with this link: https://royalroadl.com/fiction/10899/the-fringe-realms In her afterword, she compares Fringe Realms to Westworld. I also tweeted her asking about its debut, hoping to get more info. I ended up giving her gamer romance three stars, which to me means "I like it", and despite skipping a lot of her romance, I will absolutely check out her LitRPG.
OK, so I've recieved contact with her regarding her LitRPG and she replied with this. If anyone is interested in giving feedback to her, let me know your Twitter handle and I will send her your way! I am not interested in beta reading whatsoever, unless D. Wolfin ever replies to me then AHHHH sign me up! Le sigh, never gonna happen. That guy is a ghost on Twitter. </3 @Paul Bellow can you add the prefix 'Review' to the title of this thread for me? I canna access it =/ Ty!!
I think it's kind of cool someone tried this out. I like romance in my books, though I do romance a bit differently than this one. I do feel sad that this didn't do as well as some books do.
Uhh, ermmm, hummmm. The exception is UNLESS I'm fairly certain the reading is gonna be less a chore and more pure pleasure. That way I know the feedback I give won't feel like work, it will feel like fun! #AlwaysHonest #UnlessI'mTrynaStealThatFoodOffYourPlate
