Why doesn't someone make an RTS Mech game that is one part resource management, one part part full on robot building, one part destroy everything with a giant robot? Maybe throw in some kaiju for an extra flare as DLC or New Game + content?
Because that sounds like it would half-ass everything to fit it all in, or overpromise and underdeliver like No Man’s Sky did. It’s better to have one core mechanic that works brilliantly than to have five core mechanics that are sorta ehh.
