    I would imagine that my path to LitRPG mimics that of a lot of Americans. As a child, I read a lot of sci-fi/fantasy and played a lot of role-playing video games. By the time I was a teenager I had expanded my media consumption to include anime and manga, and it was only a short leap from there to light novels and web novels. During all of this exploration, I found a few LitRPG series here and there that interested me, but things really changed for me when I discovered translations of Legendary Moonlight Sculptor. That series is still my favorite, and for good reason: it has a bit of everything, and Weed is one of the quirkiest characters out there. After a while, I said, "Why not write my own series?" So I am. Maybe you'll even read it one day.
