Ya, welcome back. So you're typing with a partially recovered shoulder injury? Brave! Thought of voice recognition?
Well it's not twinging anymore, so I think it's actually recovered. I hope. I never realized how much typing uses the bloody shoulders. I don't use voice recognition because my brain is weird. When I type, I almost trance, and half of my attention isn't there. I come up with some of the best shit that way haha
I am editing my novella today (and for the next while). It's going to feel weird not clocking any words.
Had a few days with no writing, because I'm a wild-child who lives an undisciplined existence, full of chaos and anarchy, floating in a sea of dark and mysterious ways. My maverickian path forging through flame and untamed corners of the world...
I'm currently hopping from side-project to side-project while I try to figure out what happens next in my series. I've heard of writer's block, but I have OUTLINING BLOCK. The struggle is real.
I know the feeling. Oddly enough, "Outlining Block" is worse for me than Writer's Block. It frustrates me a lot more to be unable to figure out my story than it does to have some trouble getting the words flowing.
I added them last night. Not sure if they'll use it or not, but they showed interest and asked how to be added.
So, you did 40k words yesterday? Please remember that you add the words that you did on that day, not all the words up to that day.
...I feel like a dingus. I'll keep that in mind for next month, I promise that much. Honestly, I was using that as my progress sheet for Camp NaNoWriMo altogether... which isn't entirely accurate, anyway, given how NaNoWriMo does their wordcounts with the software on their websites.
...at this rate, I don't remember the exact amount I wrote yesterday, unfortunately. EDIT: Okay, actually, I remember now. My word count should be accurate this time around. Most of it was due to me copy-pasting for future chapters in one of my projects (both the 40K and the correct word count).
Just crossed the 25k threshold which is basically my personal mid-point for most writing. Pretty excited. Though I might also be excited because that big cast of characters is whittling down as I murder one each chapter until my demands are met from here on. Mwuhahahaha
