I'm in the middle of editing my editor's edits. and looking for random spaces. I'll be back putting up numbers soon. Plan on making a bum rush for part 2, end of july maybe.
This post has three purposes. First, I want to mention that only two of us put up words on the leaderboard yesterday. Me and @Carrie Summers. Congrats, Carrie! Accountability doesn't work unless you're accountable. Where's your words, folks? Second - Paul, how about some kind of group or whatever for the people on the leaderboard, so they can be called out as a group? Third - After my writing today I am thinking about looking into doing some kind of actual live leaderboard on the sheet. I'm pretty sure it can be done and my coding skills are probably up to it.

An old buddy of mine in romance built this for Slack back in the day! transcript/wftd_bot Maybe code something the other way too? That is, once the spreadsheet is updated, that gets sent to a reader friendly website where they can cheer on their favorite author(s)? Hrm...
I spent a few minutes procrastinating this morning and added live updating leaderboard sheet to the doc. It will have to be updated to point to the right sheet when the month changes but otherwise should just work.
Sweet. I'm feeling more and more shame. Spending extra time polishing book 3, so it's not like I'm slacking. I'll start soon. I want to have book 3 in mind as I write Josh's story anyway. Looking good. Thanks, @Jason Maskell ...

The shame! I missed my goal today. The peril of breaking your routine to go shopping for baby clothes with your wife. That, and when I tried to write just now I derailed since I hadn't planned out my dungeon! Mostly done now.
I should be back to writing tonight or tomorrow. Making some final changes to the end of book 3... I need to power through book 4 on a pretty tight schedule. I've done 26 novels in a year before (one every two weeks), so it can be done. With three editors (four if you count me), the quality should still be good.
