Since polls are at the thread level, if we can make one more sub forum for for the disagreements we can remove it from the All These! Forum that way they can discuss the contention right there in the same thread

 

Also if we could make a slight change of 'Game Mechanics' to 'World Mechanics' that would be awesome

 

If you want to move/delete/redo the initial disagreement and disagreement discussion threads, we can then remove the Archive subsubforum. Though I like Archive as name for all the historical stuff.

 

So I think we can remove number six entirely, unless someone has an idea for it.

Number 1, is a tough call. I feel like it should be either 'Beginners to The Land Forum', 'Introductions', or 'Intro to The Land Forum'. I at first thought there wouldn't be anyone new to The Land or 'beginners to the land', and the idea of that subsubforum wouldn't come across. That people would just be new to this forum, but maybe I am wrong.

On the note of 'beginners to The Land', do we need to put some warning that all posts will not have Spoiler warnings?

Edit: 3) 'Archives' or 'Hall of Records'. 'Hall of Archives' feels like some saying ATM Machine for some reason.

 

At least one that says check thread title and approach carefully. I feel like we can hold our selves to at least discussing spoilers for book 8 /most recent book (last two books? Anyone thoughts on where we want to draw the line since it's a fresh start?) at the time in spoiler tagged threads.

 

I say on Patreon chapters we can title them as Spoilers.

Everything will be spoilers to new people so it is on them.

The Introduction/Beginners area we can pin a thread about there being no spoilers warnings besides: ____. And to nail your 20 point thesis to this subsubforum's door. We need an initial example.

 

3 month grace period on the latest book from release date.
After that I agree that here on the forums they're here at their own risk of spoilers and discussion

 

How about limiting new book stuff to the new general 'eagerly awaiting book X' (name from the Amazon forum) thread, that will be put up at the time of release. The old 'eagerly awaiting book X-1' will be given 3 months before it is archived (which usually happens on its own).

I am okay with putting spoiler in the thread title, but I would rather not have to spoiler my post.

 

Oh we're on the same page, as long as it's in a spoiler tagged thread is what I meant

 

Maybe create a Sub(sub)-Forum for Gods Eye and any other Books the same Universe as The Land but not in the Land.

Nah, don't worry about it. I just didn't want to see his name Everytime I come back to the forum.
