Hey all I recently just picked up all available books and audible, Nick Podehl you are a godsend!

So I've finished books 1 and 2 and absolutely loved them. Now I've began reading book 3 and hit somewhat a wall.
During the torture scene/paralysis why didn't richter mind will for alma? Even before the more potent poison/paralysing agent was used, if that could even block the mind communication which didn't use mp or gestures.
Was there any reason for this? I thought his bond was something shared, just abit confused by it, would love it cleared up by anyone.
So I can enjoy and carry on xD

I think he was given the poison of nil abilities in addition to the paralytic right from the start. His ability to communicate with Alma is based on their shared ability: psi bond, he was cut off from the ability so couldn't contact her.

I thought it might have been that she was out of range?
