Book 9 Release Date

Isn't that almost exactly what he said last year? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Cause if it is not helping my confidence we will get a book next year.

 

I expect it around summer next year.

At this point I don't really care that much about the book, I just like the fandom. Pretty sure we've come up with better ideas than Aleron anyway.

Ofhand, Dungeon Lord, Beginners Luck, Beastborne, are objectively better. If we go outside litrpg there is cradle, Songs of Chaos and challengers call.

I totally agree on the better ideas happening here. Even Ole Pokey knocked a few out of the Park. Maybe if he tries he can catch up with Shout

It does seem remarkably similar. Maybe it’ll mean a great book.

 

I mean, I like the books pretty well. There’s something to the stat screens and lots of the ideas. Plus I have a terrible sense of humor, haha.

 

Here's what he told me on Facebook a few months back when I just straight up DM'ed him and asked..

 

He had a recent update via Geneva on his server. Mid year for Book 9 and late in the year for God’s Eye 2, I think.

 

Maybe he's dead and Geneva an co are just "Weekend at Bernie's"-ing him

 

If that's the case then they need to higher a ghost writer, who will churn out books regularly.

I can see them carrying him to a “real” fans only campout using a walkie talkie to read a chapter from his new book.

At this point it seems like a social experiment to see how much interest he can lose before the next release.

 

Soon, still. When there are chapters on patreon then you’ll know it’s close. I’m thinking around Easter. Maybe.

We should have a prediction bet/contest where we place a date we think the next book of the Land will be coming out.

 

Didn’t we already do that? I think 2025 is still in the running
