Was this ever turned into a video game at any point? A turn-based Mad Max type game would be cool. Or, even better, a Car Wars / Mad Max LitRPG? I remember someone on the LitRPG subreddit asking about interest. He had a cool name - Grease and Gears. You didn't need much other than the rules and some space for your never-ending road or arena. The customizing vehicles was the best. The one meta-meme I remember was the image of one of the game books was a recreation of an actual game where some guy won by throwing a grenade. Great times with this game. There was Autoduel in 1986. I had it on the Commodore. I wish Steve Jackson games would license out there ip. It would be nice to have a current version.
