Working on dungeons & dungeon cores. once you defeat the core, the dungeon is done unless an evil player comes to claim and stock it. Going with the new overland style, i want to keep the maps simple, evoke fond memories while relying on text to fill in the details. Thoughts?
Aren't Grandma's the best? When did the terminology "Dungeon core" come into vogue? I noticed it in a couple of LitRPG books I looked at (as if I have time to read everything I want to!). But, I'd never heard it before. It seems to be a popular topic for some reason... Why? Why? Tell me why? By the way, good to see everything is still running well here, Paul.

According to TVTropes it originated with the video game Dungeon Keeper (1997). Depending on what you consider LitRPG it could predate the genre or not.
