I've finally commissioned a cover for the first - "Quest into Hidden Realms" - and longest LitRPG novel I've written. It took a while to find someone to do a cover for it. What a relief. Sometimes finding a cover is harder than writing the book. So from the schedule the cover artist is giving, it looks like publication is pushed back to September. I can't wait. It's my first and my favorite. Yeah, I'm a bad book-parent and show favortism. I wish I was one of those writers who can order a cover ahead of time and then write the book. I don't know what kind of cover I want until it's written.
I wonder, is there anyone else like me who published the books they wrote out of order? The book I published earlier this week was the 2nd LitRPG I wrote, but is on a different series & pen name. The one I'm posting about here was the first I wrote, and I plan for it to be my main series. I'm kind of surprised I found a cover for the 2nd book first.
I'm keeping all mine in the Tower of Gates universe. I have a main series, but I'll be doing standalone adventures along the way. Is there a reason you're going with two series instead of one?
One series/pen name is "erotic" and the other is not. Only reason for different pen names in same genre.
