Basic planning phase. Side adventure - same world - different protagonist(s).

Takes place at the same time as book 2 while Mel is in Hades.

Cover mock up complete (making my own cover this time).

Consulted artist about rights to use goblin image. Agreed on price. Artist agreed to remove current background so it'll look cleaner than this mock up.

This is going to be the book after the next. It's been pushed back because I'm feeling really inspired about Archangel.

That said, I think I'm going to introduce the concept of gendered armor drops.

    This comic strip:

Made me think it'd be amusing to see things like the female fantasy armor dropping for male characters. It can be taken to a blacksmith or transmutation specialist in game to me reshaped, but initially you might see poorer male characters running around in gear like the breastplate below before they can safe enough money to make the changes. It might also happen mid raid in the case of a major upgrade drop. :)

I've been thinking about buying a quality mic narrating my own male lead audio books. If that doesn't work, studio time is a bit cheaper here than back home.

I used to LARP back in the day, and do different voices. That said my books tend to have a lot more range than I used to preform so I'd have to do some hardcore practice to get myself where I'd need to be for an Audible presentation.

As I try to teach myself Boston-Jersey Goblin, I'm starting to wonder how many narrators walk around talking to themselves like crazy people to practice different voices.

"Here's the deal. We go out, we sell shit. If it comes from the kitchen, if we ain't got it, they don't want it."

    Not sure if it'll happen.
