Greetings! it's always nice to see someone with a name that would make a good pulp era Sci-Fi character. Just trying to decide if it would be better to be the Space Ranger or, more of a Ming the Merciless character. Maybe something like a futuristic 50's pulp style detective.

    Thanks!
    Prax is definitely the villain.

    ***
Prax Venter tossed his head backward and let out a braying laugh that sounded half human, half machine and completely insane. The moonlight from outside the station spilled a dim glow over parts of his chrome features, the rest lost in shadow.
"You'll never find the Urn, Starlancer! Now, I leave you to deal with these mech-spiders programmed to repurpose human flesh while I carry out the next phase of my intergalactic debauchery!"
Starlancer's muscles bulged against the tightly-wrapped insulated wires that restrained him against the bulkhead. Sets of eight, glowing eyes began to illuminate the darkness around him, and he felt a bead of sweat roll down his forehead.

~ Join us next week to find out if our hero Starlancer can escape the clutches of the dastardly Prax Venter and return the sacred urn to the stunning blue women of Venus! ~

Oh no, that would be the perfect name for an explorer type. Colonel Warburton Allayne Mackinnon VIII, Imperial Marines (ret.), now indulging his youthful passion for the adventuring stories his Great Grandfather would tell to a very enthusiastic audience by following in his footsteps.
