Hey there, just dropping a quick introduction. First off, many thanks to PaulBellow for inviting me over here from reddit! I'm Red, a new LitRPG author. I just hit publish on my first novella, Roguelock. I invite you to check it out, but please forgive the placeholder cover (currently awaiting the proper art I commissioned). I'm actually not a big video gamer (any more-- ask me about Super Nintendo RPGs from the 90s) so my take on LitRPG is heavily influenced by the tabletop gaming movement known as the OSR (old-school renaissance, revival, rumpus, etc.). Roguelock and its forthcoming sequels are also openly inspired by heist media like the Ocean's series and Leverage. I look forward to getting to know you all and absorbing your mass of LitRPG wisdom! I hope to be a useful member of the community. Roguelock: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H3XQPGX
Hah. Nice! I just published RogueLIKE today. Welcome aboard. I'll get you added to the @LitRPG Author group. Let me know if you have any questions, and enjoy your stay.
Ha, I saw your announcement for Roguelike on Reddit and for about 30 seconds I was incredibly confused! (It doesn't help that my main character is also named Alex...)
Hello Red. I'll check out your book at my earliest convenience . Found it on U.K Amazon for £0.99 and at 68 pages I had to grab it straight away and give it a read. If I don't get any house work done I'll point the girlfriend your way?
