You can call me Annabelle because that is my actual name. I'm a seasoned authored. Mostly sugar and spice. I've written about five zillion romance novels and do this gig full time. I'm currently in the midst of a full blown case of burn out and spent the last month spinning my wheels looking for another genre to write in. Because the only sin in this business is to stop working. Bezos is always watching his little fiction monkeys looking for the most opportune time to change the algorithm in someone else's favor. While I'm not a huge fan of romance, I am a huge fan of RPGs, scifi and fantasy movies, books, and shows. The idea of building a platform I give a crap about is thrilling. Thrilling! I'm still in the research phase of moving into Litrpg but I couldn't be more excited about the prospect. Being a full time author and the head of my household, I can't stay out of the market too long. I've got a few ideas I'm batting around and can't wait to start. It will be nice to spend my work day not wanting to stab myself. And hopefully, you guys won't mind my cynical humor or my other weird ideas. Let's do this! We have a genre to build.
I was considering pretending to be a guy, but decided against it. Maybe being a chick can be my thing. It does come naturally to me.
BTW, if you do start writing a LitRPG, feel free to post in the WIP section of the site. I think having authors publicly interacting here will help the site (and genre) grow, grow, grow.
We've already started. I may post bits of my third novel (Roguelike) in the WIP section. We've also got an experiment going on with readers and authors writing a LitRPG story of sorts.
On a side note, I think this might be our first official instance of "Thread Drift"! Virtual peeps for all! lol
I got to see my little nephew on Mother's day. Toddlers are always fun lol We've grown a bit since you last signed off.
I've been reading all weekend and I'm still super excited. I'd love to get feedback on my story once I get rolling. I've got a great idea, and I'd love to get feedback from the group.
Feel free to post about it in the WIP (Works in Progress) forum in the LitRPG Books category. Any questions, just ask.
