I think it’s fair to say ,I can now properly separate my book reading life into two epochs. Before LitRPG and After LitRPG. I mean I have always been a bit of a voracious reader but I look back on my reading list and damn, the number of adrenaline filled late nights ,the passion , the enjoyment ,the worlds I have visited m the community engagement, and of course ,all the feels ... I am so glad to have stumbled onto this genre. My once and future obsession. So happy.
When the plot stops being fun is when it's been too many books, so, if you keep reading books, there are never enough books.
How many books is too many? I'm not sure, but I have more ebooks on my phone than I have music stored on my phone. And since I also love music, that should tell you something. Of the ones on my computer that I've had to pull off of my phone to save storage space, I've got about 1.18GB of ebooks there. That's ... a lot of books.
Oh that’s not including the ones in iBooks (another 1.8gb) or the ones in kindle (another 885MB). That’s just the ones I cleared off my phone to make space. I do most of my reading on KU now, and over the past 12 months I’ve averaged about 67.6667 books per month. That’s down a bit from the last half of the year, since editing started taking up reading for pleasure time last December.
