Resuming the battle of wills was only if he refused the quest, so if he fails it shouldn't start back up, he'll just lose all his points and be a basic bitch again.
Unless the imp can trigger some form of arbitration because Richter diden't seriously try. Similar to what happened between Roswan and Nexus.
If you accept this Quest, Xuetrix will release you from your Favor. Indeed, Richto has accepted the Quest. So he was released form the favor! Success Conditions: Steal the Wand of Rotush Rewards: Instant transport back to the Mist Village Penalty for failure of Quest: Loss of all of your accumulated XP Now How will the Imp own Richto? Simple, after Richter steals the wand he gets teleported back to the village(probably starting a war with Ogres lol). And if he refuses to do Quest 2 then he still might lose all his exp? but what does he gain then? nothing? it really all depends weather this single Quest is considered a single quest or quest equals to quest chain.
The imp could simply give Richtter what he has promised, instant transport back to the mist village. Every time Richter tries to leave he gets instant transport back to the mist village.
Powerful curse, still farming the dungeon until strong enough to brake it should be quite a fun time. Maybe Futen could un curse him lol
I noticed two things about the Quest(1), first it a actually doesn't say that the City of Ormu that the Beacon is leading him to is the Location of the Wand, and secondary it doesn't say that he has to give the Wand to Xuetrix (assuming the instructions how to give the Wand to him will Appear in Quest(2) after he gets Teleported back to the MV.
I wonder if the imp could just get (or get someone else) to the wand ahead of Richter and destroy it. Would that make make hime fail the quest?
If the quest giver destroys the item specified in the quest, then it would probably nullify the contract. If it was just buried under rock and not destroyed, then there could be a definite issue.
Without destroying it though, what about giving the same quest to another such that they complete it before Richter
Richter would then have to steal it from the other being who stole it first right? Just have to steal the wand doesn't matter if it's from the vault or another being I'd say, and since there's no time limit he could explore hiring someone who has divination to track where it's been taken if that happens.
The Imp works for Ricthers benefactor. Even so there is no doubt that he is willing to mess with Ricther. We saw that in the first book. No matter if its jealousy or his devilish ways Xuetrix is persistent at working an angle over on Ricther. I am still not so sure that Xuetrix hasn’t already messed with Ricther. Trying to force his authority over on Ricther while working for Ricthers benefactor. The Imp might have prevented Richter from making possible allies prior to the demise of some seventy five percent of the Orcs. Being in such a hurry to start with trying to rush Ricther along changed with the battle of wills and what Xuetrix wants. So what are the chances that James Uncle is Ricthers benefactor? Will the gods eye help reunite the two in some fashion?
