My first delving into LitRPG was End Online and it remains, and always shall be, my favorite. Which book/author suckered you in?
Awaken Online. I've been a fan of fantasy and sci-fi forever, but never realised a whole genre existed where the two were combined, despite the fact that anime has been doing it ages.
If mention my first... but I think Paul mentioned some sort of feud.... lol. Regardless, the series is a fun read and I'm enjoying the genre so far. Looking considering a bit more adult.. as in a darker cast to the story.
Chaos Seeds? It's well loved. To be honest, I'm not sure what he has against me. Oh well. Feel free to mention him if you want.
Yes that was it. If I had to nit pick... it reads more like a YA book/story. I've never had any interaction with him and he always seemed cool on FB and his forum from what little I saw. Maybe you 2 will get it all hashed out eventually.
Yeah, it's not like I hate the guy or anything. Don't really know him other than how he's treated me. With that said, I'm a competing author. I dunno. He was definitely in the right place at the right time.
2 authors I can't stand.. GRRM... the condescending P.O.S. and Jim Butcher.. he didn't like a critical review I made of his Dresden series once... was very animated in his reply to me. Lol
Yeah, as long as it's not other authors attacking me on reviews (*cough*podcast*cough), I'm cool with getting feedback. My +4 Robes of the Writer help protect me a bit from the barbs.
We need a dwarf to make you some Rock Skin armor? Or perhaps a gnome to craft you some Rose Tinted Glasses of fukemall!
That's a Legendary item.. at your level you currently lack the required stats to be in possession of one. Please continue writing and increase your experience and reputation.
I wish I still had it. My teacher let me make a book out of it - binding with yarn lol - but it got lost over the years.
Are we blessed with *another* LitRPG Author? Lemme know, and I'll get you added to the LitRPG Author group, which has it's own special place here on the site. Or maybe you meant a magic typewriter would help in everyday life? Either way, again, welcome.
I guess I'm sorta weird- I've been toying with the genre since before it was codified. I read Quag Keep and sorta enjoyed it, but a fair number of my own writing projects have had LitRPG elements. Usually it involves a group of players sitting around the table bantering back and forth, though.
Yeah, I'm the same way. I started with the Guardians of the Flame Series by Joel Rosenberg way back when... Have you read? https://www.amazon.com/Sleeping-Dragon-Guardians-Flame-Book-ebook/dp/B01GSENGRU
