"Never in the history of the Tamorith continent has anyone accomplished such a historic achievement! In less than one week, you have advanced your settlement to Level 5 of your Adventurer Specialization. For this amazing act, your settlement will gain a Legendary bonus."

Given that the week is probably up by now, or close to. Are we done with the special bonuses? I would think if level 5 in one week is worth a legendary bonus, why would level 6 in two weeks net nothing? On the other hand, he's already received a lot of bonuses for advancing so quickly.

    Leveling Conditions:
    generate 11,153/25,000 DP's
    Add 481/15 new beasts
    add 3/7 new rooms
    consume 7,928/2500 creatures

So basically he needs 4 rooms and 13,847 DP's.

He currently has 1 more free room, a dungeon keeper, and I assume a healthy pile of DP's waiting to be spent. I'm thinking the rooms are not the real obstacle here.

They need to more than double the amount of DP's that have been gathered so far though, and that may take a while. However, they have another enemy army at their doorstep, an open doorway to the labyrinth, and now have the daily DP's boosted by 400% for the awakened powers, 50% for the current specialization level 5, unknown extra amount for the master node now that the dungeon has leveled, and an unknown extra amount from the god node.

It seems likely that we will get specialization level 6 soon.

Still think that number of DP he got from Singh's army and explosion was Bull and to low.

I agree, especially considering the voidlings had to have been worth more than an average creature.

Only a handful of them entered the dungeon.

The dungeon got quite a score in dp and it clearly received exp for the kills as well.

IMHO the dungeon could very well level up once or even several times in the near future, but not within the week for another reward.
Frankly, the bonus for the village specialisation is the best kind of reward in the novel. It's flashy, lots of numbers going up with means instant gratification for us readers but in the end, it doesn't mean anything except in special situations. So the author doesn't have to worry about it.

Richter spent a total of five days underground, along with several days before. The first week is over, so no more glorious rewards.

Unless they are waiting for the next Book? Bk8 might have just ended before the full week has passed, I got the impression in the Alma Epilogue that more time has passed for her then had for Richter in his story, that her hunting trip had happened at least a few hours (possibly a few days?) after Richter had encountered the Orcs. Less then a week for him but possibly a little more then a week for her.

I am assuming that the Dungeon Keeper will be busily creating new Rooms in order to get the next Dungeon Rewards, probably starting with a Meat Curing & Smoking Room.

The extra bonuses like the God node may be out of reach because the Dungeon doesn't reach level 6 in less than 7 days but regular leveling should still be very helpful.

I wish I would have made this the poll question instead, but can village specialization leveling conditions be met retroactively?

That's the only way I can see other settlements being able to reach such high levels in a week.

Its supposed to be very, very hard to do. Considering that in the entire history of the river peninsula, of the tamorith continent of which the river peninsula is just a part, no one has ever managed to get the legendary reward.

I think this may be more achievable for someone like the ashstalkers/ bugbears/ evil races. With a month or two to gather slaves from their various holdings and raid their neighbors for captives, they could have quite a bit of "stock" ready to be turned into dp. Once you know the calculation per level for various creatures, they'd know how many they need to sacrifice to reach a high level. Might need to throw a few fighters and scouts in as well.

I might also gather a few months worth of slain animals/ beasts/ monsters/ etc, as well as any objects the dungeon can consume and learn.

Once thats done, you build you take that specialisation and you have seven days to throw everything and everyone into the well.

I even thought the God node was lacking in detail...heck what am I saying...Of course it did lack detail. Very much did not appreciate all the cannot be accessed now stuff. Bk 8 just felt rushed...though how it could be with all that time I do not know.

So you guys are wanting another barbican for the Fey portal? I was thinking just put them together, but segregating the two pathways is probably better. They can matriculate into a waiting room without being able to escape into the other portals.

I would seperate them too. Safer for any villagers or guests that may be using the portal

hmm Well it all depends how Savage, Ferocious and Fierce & Aggressive will be our new Village owners(Randy& Hisako)..

I believe Scionovar has all the power that Richto had?! or should we wait until Richto dies..
Also I though Richto had quite a few more free rooms, 3 free rooms from 1rst lvl'up of specialization and the 5 free rooms?!

Now in regards to getting the Dps.. the entire mist vlg should go out and hunt... with Randy especially & hisako too they could in theory even capture bug bear spies and sac the to the dungoen.. its still possible that while Richo is underground Dungeon has reached new lvl(or Specialization has reached new lvl..)

Also now the village should have a ton of tier 2 beasts to sack..

They do not know the bugbear scouts exist, and have every reason to believe sending out larger patrols is a waste of critically needed manpower. I am not saying they are not sending out patrols, but I doubt those patrols are expecting to find anything other than monsters. Sacrificing surrendered prisoners is considered a war crime in civilised states, not to mention a waste of potential labor for the duration of the war.

Sending out civilians at level 5-10 to fight against monsters in an area where even prey animals are breaking through to tier 2 (so level 40+ in many cases) - sounds like a good way to get them killed. Professional crafters have no business on the battlefield, even if they have been power leveled past level 10, as they are a critical resource.

I doubt they have a hundred people fit for hunting the monsters currently, outside of single creatures targeted by large warbands that are willing to swallow heavy loses.

The dungeon's first level is a far better hunting ground until they reach a higher level. They still risk meeting a high-level monster, but not one they cannot even hope to beat.

hisako said in book one that bugbears has been known to scout the area and that her forces and the bug bears regularly got into scuffles. Couple that with the fact the bug bears already attacked the village after the quickening, plus now they know the mist aren’t full proof And I’m pretty sure that they know the bug bears are scouting. Secondly aren’t all the sprite warriors still in the mist village from the fight with the goblins... so yeah pretty sure they have more than a 100 people fit to fight.

His hunters were also attacked by a bugbear scouting party just outside the mists.
