Just realized that Ascend Online is on audible. Looks like it just jumped to the head of my que. Ultimation will have to wait until afterwards. Has anyone listened or read it?
I enjoyed it, one of the first LitRPG's I read. And then the sequel came out and I couldn't get back into it. I was confused, wondering if too much time had passed ... so I checked the reviews and realized that the main characters were different which explained that! Gave it a pass bc too many other shinies n such. I hear book three returns to the main cast though.
I think the books been changed to "A Side-Story set in the world of" Which changes what's in the pipeline to book two. It's another group of people, will then come together with the people from book 1. The writer didn't think it would be that badly accepted.
