Do you think using parts from a vampire would boost blood magic enchantments? I know he can't get the benefit of soul flavor because of sentience, but what if he used their fangs for spiked knuckles on a gauntlet enchanted with dread harvest, wrapped in malleable iron for added acid affect? If the fangs are hollow he can wrap all but the point in malleable iron with just the tips exposed. The fangs can then be filled with a poison (really venom but in games you cover your blade in poison) that injects when punching someone.
I bet it would, you could also use them to draw blood/life essence out of someone with the punch. Also isnt there a thing about vampires being able to control the people they bite? Could work well with tame/charm/vitality puppet.
I wonder how far the increase number of enchantments talent goes. When he bought the ability to dual enchant it said there was another level, so triple enchantments should be possible, but i wonder if he could do 4. If so it would be interesting to see what would happen from the creation of a mist lord weapon. Truesilver metal from the quickening, forged in the FOH, one enchantment from each of the 4 ley lines of MV, soul of the harbinger of the barrow. Maybe a gem that represents all 4 powers/ mist. Enchanted by the lord mist using blood crystal linked to the lord of the mists. Might lead to an interesting bonus trait.
I’d say threes the limit because three is always a magic number. But richter is limitless so who knows
I’d rather not think about using someone’s teeth on my weapons. Even if they are the living dead it would feel so wrong. Like would you use an Orcs Tusks? How about elven ears or goblin leather? Just seems gross to me lol
Of course I’m unable to use the ones showing off WhiteBeard using his glaive to use any earthquake attacks but damn would a legendary earth magic imbued glaive be sweet.
I don't think these two metals were ever identified, do you think they will ever pop back into the story again.
I'm still a little flabberghasted he didnt consult with his smiths and miners about what good metals exist in the world before blowing all those settlement points. They might have been able to guess the level 1 form of glass. Or tell him some more level II metals. They all knew what darkstone was after all.
Meh. He did do a bunch of blacksmithing so I’m assuming he’d know the usual metals. And it’s super him not to ask others first, haha.
What macro enchantments should go on the ship when it is built. Entangling vines enchanted with some sort of constrictor snake souls to snare and drown people who try to board it?
Go for the plain. Speed and durability enchantments on the ship. Install a ram with a fire enchantment that allows it to burst into flames once inside the guts of another ship. Its not that sexy of a design.
Heck just to make it a little fancy, run a pipe through the ram with a bag of holding filled with oil attached. Once you activate the fire enchantment the same activation sequence should start pouring oil into the target ship. Give it 10 or so charges to be used at the captains sayso. Call the ship the mosquito. Give it a bit of extra speed by giving it a crank driven propeller. A leg is about 3 times stronger than an arm, so make it pedal powered. This is well within their technological capabilities, and surely Richter has seen a paddleboat.
Just for that extra touch, have dwarves do the paddling. They have strength, endurance and they are too stubborn to quit.
Don't even need a bag of holding, just a regular oil bags and someone with weak air push, use it like a blow gun. With 1 second cast times you could lob 2-3 through then be good to go. Alternatively, just a vat with an exit at the other end of the ram. Open the tap, pour out a few gallons (no bag means they cant shove it back in) seal it back off ideally at both ends so it doesn't fire back through the pipe) and light it up.
