For some reason, he thinks by going up 1,800 feet (600 meters) he'll be able to see the curvature of the earth... And he's spent 20k on his pet project... the simple way of getting high? Climb a mountain... or just lots of ayahuasca.
“There’s no difference between science and science fiction.” - "Mad Mike" there. Did this guy blow himself up yet? Because now I'm curious.
I think i saw a video of a test launch and he looked preatty out of it but definitely not blown up but you are aware he hasent done the launch yet you would think he would put a balistic gell dummy or something inside before launching himself seems like thats asking for trouble even if he dosent "beleve" in science
If he doesn't "believe" in science than why the heck did he bother building a rocket? A steam powered rocket at that! This only going to end in disaster, but heck, at least he's filming it so people can watch.
I think he's "launching" this Saturday? Should be interesting. Heh. Maybe the Earth is not round or flat but a trapezoid! Or maybe a giant turtle shell.
Don't forget the four elephants... Also... He's using scrap aluminium, nothing can go wrong with that masterplan
And he apparently doesn't understand the damage G-Force can do to a human body... Because he's already jumped once (only to 1300 that time) and collapsed... so...yeah, what could possibly go wrong with this brilliant plan? If he doesn't blow himself up, he's going to liquify himself!
Another factor in the "wtf are you thinking?!" feeling I get when I think about this guy. Then again, he apparently thinks the world is flat so...
Well... Hopefully he becomes a cautionary tale... Bumping up average global iq by a point or two... More likely there'll be a conspiracy theory that he was sabotaged by the CIA
Apparently so! Although this conversation is totally making me want to do a LitRPG on a flat world. Just because.
