I am liking again and again the vine plant protecting the Dungeon in the boat. Spoiler: Water grown How can he get that plant into/onto the boat. Well not just on the boat, but also loosly controlled so that friend or foe can be set. Maybe by including the dirt of the Mist Village or Dungeon, the plant can think that it is still connected , like an embassy, but I don't think it would need it.
Could be a subset for spirit magic, similar to tame for blood magic, just based for plant / fungal growth maybe?
More likely would need Life and Earth Magic as well as Spirit Magic, maybe also some type of Dungeon/Labyrinth Magic as well?
I would think so, as long as they choose the right Plant/Tree to Sculpt and if the Living Sculpting and ShipBuilding/Crafting Skill as high enough. Things like that aren't exactly unknown in Fantasy Fiction, especially where Elves and other Nature Living/Living Races are involved.
Isn’t the kytachi bonding a sub skill of enchanting? And you need to be a journeyman in it to bond a soul to a ship. So I’m guessing you need to practice on smaller objects and work up to boats. This means the shipwright is a journeyman enchanter and has this super cool sub skill very similar to soul flavour; and richter has shown zero interest in learning anything from her. I’m guessing the second boat will be a warship as well. So I’m hoping he gets the soul of a kraken like creature while underground. That would make a badass warship. crewing it with a water golem to help out is a great idea. Perhaps he can get the component to make a water golem from the same creature he bonds to the ship. I did think that he should make a golem of each of his PoP magics, is sure to get a boost.
Might be both? Although I'm thinking that Kytachi Bonding can be utilised for more then just Ships, might by slightly different Linked Sub-Skills if so though?
Nice one! Thank you. So I was stupid, it’s not a sub skill of enchanting. But how does she rank up to journeyman? Are there loads of row boats out there with the soul of rats bound to them?
I wouldn't be surprised if Kytachi Bonding doesn't Synergies/resonate with the Enchanting Skill in some way, especially if they have a Specialization in Enchanting (or Kytachi Bonding?), even more so if they have become Tier 2 and have gotten the Talent that allows your to infuse aspects of creatures from a Soul when Enchanting.
Richtær should definitely learn that skill and subskill. Why he didn't use his lead from the front into it, I don't know.
