Check out episode 11 of the LitRPG Re-Roll where I review the new release -- Rise of the Weakest Demon King. Lavelle
there is really no specific criteria for what i choose. The cover art of this one got my attention. little did i know i would find a insane mess within.
Oh well, live and learn. ...also, might as well mention that the first episode my own little series will be doing a limited get-for-free promotion starting on Sunday... *innocent whistles*
To some degree, certainly. It's a two-layered tale about a D&D-like table game being played out in real life, with much of the story being told via cut-ins to the fantasy side point of view. Character sheets and point allotments are mentioned, and dice rolls are a frequent fact of narrative fun and games. I'm hoping to get the paperback collection back in print by the end of next week, with the tag line "All of the dice rolls seen actually happened" at the beginning. (In hindsight, I might've saved myself some headaches by not giving the witch character a Rod of Wonder, but then again, it's been pretty fun rolling for the thing as I wrote and then rolling with it, as it were).
I will read it for sure. check out my youtube channel and subscribe if you will LitRPG Re-Roll i also have a facebook page Litrpg Re-Roll
Do you read royalroad.com? I'm slow rolling a LitRPG book out there before I put it up on Amazon at the end of the school year. I'd love to hear any feedback you might have, and I'd gladly send you an advanced review copy if you started on Royal Road and wanted to read the rest before I post it. It is the story of Chris and Jeremy, two young friends who handle bad things happening to them in very different ways. When Jeremy snaps and decides to lash out, Chris tries to stop him. They both get pulled into a world sized game specially designed by Heaven and Hell to decide disagreements without Divine intervention. The world game is populated with volunteers from Heaven and Hell and the rules are like a combination of Dungeons and Dragons and Civilization. The Divided Lands: Openings | Royal Road
