For me the term "RNG-heavy" is a showstopper. All roguelikes have a random element by their nature, so if there's enough of it that it's considered worth mentioning then I'm out.
I love em, but I don't like excessive RNG in anything. A roguelike is random by nature, but good ones have balanced randomness. A roguelike specifically described as 'RNG heavy' is likely to cross the line for me. Mitigating bad luck is something I have to do enough of in RL...
