51 of his 72 spells at the beginning of book 7 have strength terms like weak or minor. 51/69 if we dismiss settlement spells (which for some reason didn't include the concealing and confusing mist spells)
Those with out the Designinators might not have a Stronger version of it, there maybe similar Spells that are stronger but those Spells might be completely different Spells rather then just improved versions of the strength designated spells?
That should be correct. A number of spells have had the prefix removed or added during retconns. It would be nice if he were to use the Paste Linked Text from an excel sheet so that names and ranks or prefixes are consistent. Im going to go with, it is a mistake, though that is difficult. Right after he shows the book to the readers we are show that spell strength table again, and it is not on there. I also don't see it in an earlier edition of that book, but maybe it does occur in an original edition (lol or just a draft).
Perhaps greater refers to the maximum rank of the creature that can be contained? Grasping at straws here.
Between that, possible benefits from a proffession, specialty, maybe focus too (like how Nien had armor from a talent), actually having a version of thought magic, it's not
