Agreed, this discussion is entirely irrelevant to the thread.

When science tells up that our observation determine the outcome, it is handwaving.

Observation is your senses sending data to your brain. Nothing handwavy about it. Nothing magical. Just cold, hard objective reality.

As for science it is simply a framework that allows us to extract meaning from observations. From that meaning we derive patterns and seek to further our understanding of reality. Some like to call those patterns laws, but I kinda dislike it since it gives the impression that these are something more than observed patterns. It bestows upon them an undeserved aura of finality.

Anyway, weren't we going to drop this subject?

    Yes, we were.

I think that the basilisk alliance is from the underdark of the forest of nadria. From there they probably come from the Whisper Woods via the black highways.

That's an interesting theory. One issue would be that the first goblins came from the azergoth swamps. So i'm guessing that if the whisper woods are directly involved, they have allies in the azergoth swamps and the firetip mountains.

An underground alliance that the dog faces... I mean lizard faces (thinking original meaning) are not apart of? They might make for a great Ally against the alliance.

And tell me if you aren’t using your senses how do you do the scientific investigation or research? If so then you can’t tell me that often people perceive things differently. If we didn’t everyone would always work the problems from the same approach. Thank God we don’t. There are many approaches to problems we can take But as we know they don’t always pay off. For me I am only one man looking at things from my prospective. I am not God and I can not see everything from all angles at once. I only know the truth as I see it from my perspective. Like a mechanical drawing where I only get to see the left side side of the drawing I wouldn’t have a clue about the right side.

That was my point when I said create a back drop so the Kobolds know Where their line with Ricther is. Then from a strong position he can reintroduce the Great Khan. That way when they have their backs against his wall fighting the other fronts the have no where else to go.

Back to this subject I see :)

I agree that man is flawed and sometimes lacks the ability to see things as they are. We are limited to our own perspective and senses after all. There is a reason we use multiple witnesses in court when we seek the truth of some chain of events. Man is flawed. His recollection of observations sometimes are as well.

People get observations wrong all the time.

Although I am on team objective truth, for sure.

I like this take. Maybe that’s how he levels the village up. And perhaps gets an amazing award for it because of the difficulty.
