Hi guys, I just finished reading a great book about story structure and other elements of the fantasy genre. It’s called “The Fantasy Fiction Formula” by Deborah Chester (snazzy title, huh?). It’s REALLY good, and gives one of the best premise tests I’ve come across so far, which has been so helpful in nailing down my central story-line. Has anyone else read this book? … Or does anyone else have a recommendation for their favorite writing craft resource?
We have a virtual book shelf in the Aspiring Writer's Guild. You just need a used typewriter to get in. DragonByte Shop | LitRPG Forum Thanks for sharing, though!
I have! I actually really enjoyed it and still keep it on my Kindle to read now and again! I'm a fan of the Dresden Files so when Jim Butcher recommended it, I had to check it out.
Thanks! The Dresden Files are on my fiction bucket list - I totally need to get around to reading that series!
The Dresden Files are a good series. I haven't read all of them, but I've read the first 7 or 8 and they're a nice, entertaining read with a good voice.
