    That would be good yes.

Now that I think of it, maybe Richter should build something similar to the old sewers below London. Large tunnels with plenty of space, with wards to keep monsters from lairing down there.

Sounds like the perfect space to spawn monsters.

He already has the dungeon, though, and that has more benefits and knowledge about it.

Use the old crashed church for a town sever system?

nope just live there.. like a camp but underground with a roof and friendly neighborhood kobolds and traps!
Dungoen should suck all of that in.. its energy in one way or another.. or super potent smell bombs/traps..

Its not a bad idea, but my tunnel network was meant as a sever network, Might as well start out oversized so the village has something to grow into, similar to a puppy having huge paws compared to its body.

Well having running water and draining all of that to the dungeon would improve a ton of things.. still building such an enterprise would take quite a bit of time.

Wonder how much it costs to rename the core buildings?

Not that it's needed but if he could change them to earth specific puns it could be nice for future chaos seeds / draw them in if it comes up in conversation/ a little melancholic anchor for some

That's what they have the mist workers for. Dumb grunt work like digging endlessly.

Better start it now where most buildings are temporary structures that will have to be replaced some time next year than wait till permanent structures are put in place. Its a lot easier to dig if you don't have to be wary of collapsing buildings.

LOL I never actually realized it but Richter took the easy way out on robots (ie. Slave) Labor. As long as you have a race of beings you don't care about, or pay he can get lots of work done. Geez

    be me
make a super strong line of hardened steel wire. tell ~20 mist workers 10 in each side of the rope to carry it and surround the enemies.. and just tie them up. Like 600 meter line.. would be fun to see this in practice

Mist workers holding doors in front of them as protection against ranged attacks while standing in front of a charging army. With their 50% resistance to physical attacks, it takes a lot of blows to bring down a mist worker, let alone 2-3 rows of mist workers. Meanwhile the sprites, pixies and mages blow their magic on raining down destruction upon the combatants.

Once they've used their magic they retreat to the meadow to recover behind the 30 feet walls while the mist workers do their best to get in the enemy's way.

Well main idea would be to literally cut the enemy army in two.. but we really need some magic to be able to gain such high velocity for the metal line chain... Maybe have two super deep holes with massive 2.5ton stones and just some spell to have these stones fall in at accelerated speed... while forming a semi circle and dragging the chaing at super high speed down... maybe even use limited portals to suck in the stones..

hmm maybe even make a fake hole in the wall "weak point" also killing half of an army with the chain and finishing the other half is kinda nice

The best part is the mist workers aren't self aware, they are just automatons. They are slaves the way a car is a slave.

With Richter and Alma both summoning mist workers as they go through the day - Richter a lot more often than Alma - they have a lot of them around most of the time.

A greatly underused resource. F.e. Alma was using one to give herself a massage lol
