Do the @Exiles know I created a LitRPG-themed action RPG in Unreal Engine 4? Ever wonder what it would be like to be trapped in an RPG? Now you can find out! This LitRPG-themed ARPG has you playing a mild-mannered gamer who finds himself trapped in a game! Can you survive and find your way out? On your meta adventure, you can collect dice to modify your equipment, craft weapons, mix potions, find LitRPG books, and a whole lot more. You ARE the chosen one, and you WILL escape this game. The dragon can't beat you forever. Right? LitRPG Reads: Enter the Game (Early Access) by Paul Bellow LitRPG * * * While marked as early access, I've poured over a thousand hours into this game. As an indie author and game developer, I try to put out quality entertainment products. LitRPG Reads: Enter the Game is playable, but I'm looking for more people to play and help me improve the game even further. If you're a fan of the RPG or LitRPG genres, you'll want to check this out. Currently Working: Play as male or female (cosmetic skins) Tactical combat with dynamic targeting Spell system Skill system Crafting system 1km x 1km open world + Six Delicious Dungeons! Variety of mobs Variety of loot Even more surprises! The end-game and overall balance still needs work, but that's where YOU come in. While I've got a lot of ideas on how to expand this game and make it even more fun, I'd love for you to join me on this journey. Reach out at one of the links below if you like this game and want to see it "level up" and become even better. Thanks! LitRPG Reads: Enter the Game (Early Access) by Paul Bellow LitRPG
Thanks. I'm gonna wait until I can polish it up and get it on Steam. Looking for feedback on it, though. I think I came up with an idea for ending the game - you have to find all the LitRPG books hidden in the game.
Maybe could add a hidden sphinx that asks questions about the books you find, (if they're based on actual books)
Ooh. Interesting idea. There's over three dozen books (actual books) that you can find inside the game.
Wanted to add... I got the authors' permission first! It's just the cover and blurb, but they're collectibles in the game...
