Yeah, for fantasy tabletop - and some sci-fi. I sometimes use the AI for story ideas, though. https://www.amazon.com/Girl-All-Text-Cyberpunk-Novel/dp/B09WPW7D6H A book about AI written about AI... cyberpunk-ish...
Bad news fellas, he’s writing a post-apocalyptic series now. He’s only one book into his 2nd series, seems early to start a new series already…
“Aleron is switching up writing between his three books as his inspiration hits…” sounds like a sub optimal writhing strategy, and as if he’s not consistently writing but is rather mostly not writing. However, it also makes it seem like the other two series are very important side stories. Side stories are good. They expand the world and make the plot more complex. That being said I fell in love with the land and I very much want more of it. Post apocalyptic earth or a story about a god does not interest me as much.
I think at this point we just have to accept that he won't be releasing a book this year, hope we get one next year.
Well, gents, no more updates from me. I got kicked from the server for asking for clarification about an issue with a mod who apparently is pretty testy. F’s in the chat, y’all.
I am still a member in good standing. Mostly because i'm a great suckup when I have to be. You must learn to crawl like worms to be in the presence of his lowness Aleron's sycophants. Crawl worm brethren, CRAWL... Or you could move on to greener pastures. I'm quite enjoying reading the wandering inn. I'm also way into Summus Proelium, one of those superhero webnovels like Worm except less grim.
I got a mod all angry, I guess, probably because he didn’t like my opinions, anyways. Brook no dissent! Ban all the time! What’s the best part of the Summus one? I’ve seen it mentioned somewhere.
I have inquired when book.. besides all the other perceived "transgressions" I may have shown my knowledge level and simpletons weren't able to comprehend it
TL;DW maybe the Land 9 this year, audiobook whenever, god’s eye 2 some time after, new third series after that (latter 2 my conjecture). Thanks for posting!
Just registered to say it looks like that video was posted last year, not this one sadly. Guess he missed his deadlines...
The magical paint, the silliness being presented in a natural, unforced way (such as a gorilla-lizard hybrid "driving" the getaway truck to the heroes. Driving in the sense that the gorilla is basically all over the road pulling every lever and pushing every button it can, with other cars swerving off the road to avoid a frontal crash. When it finally gets there the gorilla just jumps out and allows the van to keep going). Its not too bad on the silly, it does take all the usual heavy topics up, its just has more of a noble dark twist to it. Few true heroes, some psychotic villains, but mostly complex characters dealing with a shitty hand. Oh and some really fucked up powers. One villain named Potluck gets a new power or a boost to an existing one whenever he eats another touched.
Ooh. Good catch! You've discovered our plot to increase our membership here at the retro LitRPG Forum! Hehe... Welcome aboard...
