    i found it so so.. not the best..And def not the worst. The 80's references were pretty cool.
    after reading the blurb for your book. It reminded me of a book i read years ago. (forget name) But it was about experianced viet nam combat soldiers who took part in a gov experiment. They were digitally encoded and then rematerialized for war. The story followed one guy in particular, as he fought war after war for a thousand years or more. (sometimes against even himself) He finally destroys all copies of his pattern giving him true death. Really wish i could remember the books name.

    Sounds a bit like another one I read the blurb for back in the day. He was the Roman soldier that lanced Jesus. His curse was to be forever a soldier. But the book you're talking about sounds cool too!
