I'm a super fan of YouTube. Podcasts? Pfft, it's all about Vodcasts. Twitch? I wish, my internet isn't good enough. However, it's good enough to slowwwwwly load a YouTube video and for that I'm grateful. Travis McBee is one of my favorite authors in the YouTube community. I may not have read any of his books but I watch his vids faithfully. Shh, please don't tell him about the never-read-his-books part. I have a short list of people I like to watch. Jenna Moreci another whose channel I enjoy. Any channel out there you recommend I check out? Travis' latest video 'Writing Tips'.
Lindsay Ellis her videos arent exactly vodcasts but the work as them anyway and there not exactly about writing but there enjoyable https://www.youtube.com/user/chezapoctube
This is one of the youtube stations that I enjoy, "Terrible Writing Advice". He gives a complete vivisection of exactly what not to do, by telling you to do it. It's what I like in a video, informative and quickly gets to the point.
I'm on the prowl for 40 to 60 + minute podcasts related to either writing, marketing, or game making. And by on the prowl I mean I just saw this thread and thought to myself, "I should be on the prowl for..." Need something to listen to while I glare at exercise equipment or cook. Would appreciate any recommendations from people who are already plugged in to any of those topics!
I'll have to check them out, already listened to the Jenna Moreci "beta reader" vids you linked and realized they were crazy short... which makes sense given the topic.
She's got charisma out the wazoo for her, but the SFF vodcast has a special place in my heart because I follow the two of them who are on Twitter and they are very interactive <3 Plus, they drop so much knowledge.
Have you heard of extra credits? They talk all about game making although there shorter they do have some long vids. Also james does a book club in which he analyses writing.
